The book, Living Beyond Apartheid, chronicles practical ways in which he used the Law to alleviate the living conditions of many in the new democratic South Africa. These range from securing land and services rights to informal settlements and communities, to actual land restitution to thousands who had lost these rights as a result of racially discriminatory laws and practices of Apartheid. A must read for those who are still engaged in the work of rebuilding and restoring the fabric of post-Apartheid South Africa.
